CombiFlex® provides an efficient passive humidification ventilation option.

The unique and compact design allows for efficient heat transfer from warmed exhaled gases to the inspiratory limb.

In this coaxial limb system, the exhaled gases thermally insulate the oncoming inspiratory gases and this creates an efficient thermo micro-climate within the circuit, meaning the gas provides the optimum support for the patient.

A patient-end bacterial viral filter-HME is advised when CombiFlex® is used in a critical care setting. A suitable HME will provide inhaled gases typically at >31mg, H2O/L gas at 500ml Tv and 15RR.

How to use CombiFlex®

BioCote® Antimicrobial Silver Technology

CombiFlex® is supplied with BioCote®, an antimicrobial silver additive to limit the numbers of microbes on the surface of the breathing circuit, protecting it from microbial colonisation.
