POINT® Wins Poster Competition

A research poster on the innovation and safety benefits of high flow nasal therapy (HFNT) in special care dentistry, using POINT® high flow by Armstrong Medical, was voted best overall poster at a clinical practice conference at the University of York last week.

Sister Annette Keenan, and her team from the School of Dentistry at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, travelled to York for the Association of Perioperative Practice (AfPP) annual conference to exhibit their poster.

The AfPP board selected the poster as the best entry for the ‘perioperative in clinical practices’ category. At the conference gala dinner, the team were delighted to learn that the majority of the 450 event delegates had voted the poster as the overall winner for the conference.

With increasing evidence demonstrating a role for HFNT in the perioperative environment, Armstrong Medical launched POINT® into the global marketplace in 2016. Now at the forefront of the field, POINT® is transforming airway management.

Nigel Armstrong, Sales & Marketing Director at Armstrong Medical said;
“Well done to Sister Annette Keenan and her clinical team at the Royal Victoria Hospital who are leading the way in special care dentistry. We are extremely proud that Armstrong Medical Products are associated with such improved patient experiences, especially in this vulnerable patient group.”
