The Armstrong Medical Export team, led by Business Development Manager Ms Andi Regan exhibited this week at Arab Health trade show in Dubai. Arab Health is a crucial health care trade show for expansion of business to Middle Eastern and Asia-Pacific markets.

Andi and the team have made several visits to the Middle East, assisting our local distributors to secure contract awards over the past 12 months in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Qatar, and Oman worth approximately £1,000,000.

This week at Arab Health we received confirmation of a contract award from the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health for our Neo Natal ventilator circuits. The Kuwait contract is four times the size of the Northern Ireland market. In 2012 we were unsuccessful tendering for the Northern Ireland business and now we are winning contracts across the world. The work done in R&D by Technical Director Ciaran Magee and Operations Director Donna McFadden has enabled the export team to develop these global opportunities.

We are grateful to Minister Foster and Invest NI for their assistance and ongoing support.
