Armstrong Medical Ltd has recently donated towards the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust Chairman’s chosen charity, Kiwoko Hospital.
Kiwoko Hospital provides essential health and community care to over half a million people in the Luweero region of Uganda. It was founded in 1987 by Dr Ian Clarke, a GP from Newtownards and the current Medical Superintendent is Dr Rory Wilson, a GP from Bangor, Co. Down.
Kiwoko Hospital is the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust Chairman’s chosen charity and from 2006 staff employed by the South Eastern Trust have been supporting Kiwoko Hospital through fundraising efforts and through annual staff visits to the hospital.
