Fire Causes Extensive Damage

It was only as dawn broke on Friday 04 May 2007 was the extent of destruction and devastation caused by the fire fully realised.

The main warehouse had been completely wiped out. Stock of every description from raw materials, packaging, distributor products, Armstrong Medical branded products, stationary supplies to product graphics and literature had been destroyed. This area also housed clean room production, injection moulding and tubing extrusion facilities.

The main administration block was also gutted in the fire. This building was the hub of Customer Service, Finance, Personnel and all telecommunication services.
